Drying and Purifying Apparatus Applied on Waste/By‐product Hydrogen

Affected by climate change and worldwide energy policy, Hydrogen becomes one of the new and clean energy sources in 2022. Most of the Hydrogen, grey hydrogen, is generated by the steam methane reforming process from coal and natural gas. Electrolysis of water with renewable energy can produce green hydrogen but the cost is high. To meet the balance between cost and low carbon emissions, waste and by-product hydrogen from industries are luring people’s attention. Take by-product hydrogen from processing waste silicon slurry, for example, the mixture gases consisted of hydrogen, moisture, VOCs, hydrocarbons, and other impurities. The byproduct hydrogen can be used in the stationary system or back to the production line after concentration and purification.

AuraMat.® Waste/By‐product Hydrogen Purifying systems

AuraMat.® Waste/Byproduct Hydrogen Purifying systems are designed with low operating pressure. The average removal efficiency (RE) of different impurities can reach over 90% at 1 Kg/cm2 inlet pressure. Take AuraMat.® TSA-H2-100CH for demonstration:

  • Capacity: 1500 LPM, customized is available
  • Trapping various impurities at the ppb level, like NH3, H2S, PH3, VOCs, etc; RE > 90%
  • Purified by-product H2 can be stored in the pressure container at local for following stationary system to generate green power.
  • The removal of impurities from by-product H2 could avoid any influence on the working capacity of the following stationary system.
